Im thinking of getting a 70 kit for my Yamaha neos because I want to go fast obviously but I want to beable to stop an I've got standard brakes does anyone know we're I can find good brake from
what is it on? tbh you wont really need to upgrade your caliper/pads/disc... i've only ever found stuff for aerox's but a good place to look if you defo want something is www.scooterattack.com
e-mail them and ask about fitting an up-rated caliper, as well; http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/760/stage-6-aerox-brake-disc--280mm-oversize-mk2
If it's just a sport 70 kit then there is no point at all. You bike is from a decent brand with pretty decent brakes as stock. You could fit some sport front pads and a braided hose if yours is rubber.
I have an MBK Ovetto 70, which is basically the same as a Yamaha Neos. It has a brembo front caliper. All I've done is fit a set of EBC HH pads (HH means double sintered compound). I managed to find them for £8.09 delivered http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SH-50-T-F...08?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item45fb8ad73c Trust me, thats a very very cheap price.
If changing the pads doesn't give you enough stopping power, then I suggest change the brake fluid & possibly think about going for some stainless steel brake lines. https://www.scooter-attack.com/shop...MFRBRAKEHOSE-Brake-Line-Motoforce-RACING.html Just bear in mind the above suggestion will also provide you with a rear stainless brake line, which will be of no use to you, as you will have a rear drum brake. Just my opinion.
I wonder if this could aid in braking, too... https://www.scooter-attack.com/shop...yling-Parts/Other/ODF103-Frame-Tubes-ODF.html Afterall, it will stop the ped trying to fold, each time you apply the front brake. I'm thinking about getting one.
