Your need a 125 runner engine i do believe.

You cannot convert back wheel on a 50 to a disc.

Should have bought the nrg liquid cooled ;) but nevermind.. the drum brakes on NRG's are actually really good compared to most.. so I dunno why yours is bad

I actually prefer drum on the rear to disc, doesn't lock up in the rain etc.

    Maybe your brake needs adjusting?

Shouldnt be spongy.. the nrg drum brake when brand new are nice and sharp.. they feel smooth.. not in a spongy way

new shoes, new arm and actuator pin (think thats the right name) new cable. break will work properly, they ALL get grimy and are never greased let alone serviced.. they last for fuckin time hence people ignor them, then slag them off for being shit. nothing wrong with drum, only advantage to disk is manuals and even then you get airlocks in the caliper's if there not perfectly blead
