    Nice. :) Gonna be a nice set up all together :)

    Same, I am not using anything from the standard throttle/switches/speedo.

    Need to find a speedo that has light indicators for MOT purposes :p I think that one does have them no?...At the top?...

    That s quite exciting if you get it fitted right with your brackets! :D Is it going on that bws? Standard or beast transformation planned?.. Cant wait to see pictures onces it s mounted!

    I just dont know however if it is better to just do an aerox from scratch or go with the hassle of modifying the frame (Still unsure about the brackets :p) and mount a LC engine on a bws frame. It does look cool but what a lot of work :p

    FFS!

    Went out to fit the aerox wheel and stage 6 brake just now.

    Got everything on and started tightening the bolts up and found the caliper body was hard up against the disc so the wheel won't turn! :(

    This is with the neos spindle, neos spacer and aerox speedo - basically somethings making the disc out of alignment. :(

    Turns out the Aerox speedo is 5mm wider than a neos one so i need an Aerox wheel spacer to take 5mm off the other side so the caliper is properly aligned with the centre line of the disc.

    Now bought one off ebay so should get that Monday/Tuesday.

    Also...the stage 6 caliper bracket moves the caliper further up the fork. On my bike the brake hose is now too long to sit nicely in the bodywork without bending/snapping the plastic so i'll either need to find a shorter one or see if i can maybe loop it round on itself.

    The disc looks amazing though!

    It gets worse!

    Just gone out to try and fit the Aerox back wheel to the engine and it won't go on!

    Its down to the engine cases...the 50cc cases (BW and Jog) are stamped 110 (mm??) for the drum brake wheras the 100cc are stamped 130 (mm??). There also seems to be some issues with the rear axle being slightly different.

    So bascially Aerox 100 drum rear wheels don't fit drum brake 50cc engines despite what i've read on the US zuma sites . :(

    So this now causes a problem now because i have amassed the following parts;

    - A powercoated 100cc rear wheel with brand new tyre to match the front end swap.
    - A working 70cc minarelli vertical motor fitted to the bike.
    - A Kiesler subframe which (according to a german site) allows me to fit a horizontal motor.
    - A LC jog engine with no radiator, head or exhaust or anything else i need.
    - A 100cc motor in bits but usable.

    Cost is now becoming an issue!

    So what do i do?

    If i want to use the wheel and tyre i need;
    • A 100cc crank (£70-80),
    • A 100cc cylinder kit (£70-80),
    • A 100cc exhaust (£60-180),
    • Some odds and sods (maybe £50).
    If i want to keep the current vertical motor i need;
    • A crank and parts for a full rebuild [cos it rattles] (£200ish),
    • A 50cc aerox wheel (£20),
    • A TNT wheel conversion kit (like murerg has) (dunno...maybe £50),
    • Powercoat the wheel to match the front (£20)
    If i want to fit the Jog motor i need;
    • A crank (£70-80),
    • A 70cc kit (£80-180),
    • An exhaust (£180),
    • A radiator (£40),
    • A 50cc aerox wheel (£20)
    • A TNT wheel conversion kit [like murerg has] (dunno...maybe £50),,
    • Powercoat the wheel to match the front (£20)
    What do you think?

    which will give the best power, i geuss its down to you as to which way you go, simply pick the best of the bunch for what you want and flog on the rest.

    im awaiting my new variator sliders and then i should be able to test ride my 100 and see how it can perform with the mods i have done. My ride home on the new rear torque pulley was slow as my variator was keeping the revs at 6k and not 7 lol

    i personally would use a 50 lump liquid cooled with a 70 kit as thats the sort of snappy power id like

    Yeah i think it defo needs to be a 50cc of some sort.

    I was looking at the TNT wheel conversion for an aerox wheel and i'm not keen on it so i've bagged a used Jog wheel off ebay for £15 quid. Its 12" but has 6 spokes so will look pretty similar to the aerox front once coated...just need a new tyre but they're only £30 delivered.

    The Jog wheel will fit my vertical motor and of course the Jog engine.

    I'll keep collecting parts for the LC swap but will get it going with the vertical engine for now so at least its on the road.

    I'll go and weigh those 100cc bits as well and pm you this afternoon....

    You are finding out that doing things people don't do ends up in a lot more headaches than people ever say. Even if someone claims they have done something before they normally leave 90% of the job out of it.

    You've definately got that right!

    Take fitting a 100cc rear wheel...on the US zuma forums they say its a straight swap but they neglect to say you won't have a working rear brake in doing so.

    Still, at least it not a massive outlay in in parts...the 100cc engine is a left over from the last bike and the jog motor was only 80ish. If some of this stuff isn't used on this bike i'm sure it'll come in handy ona future bike :)

    Looks fecking hard imo! :) :)

    My Jog rear wheel also turred up so i've dropped that in to be coated in gold as well - should get back in a week or so then i'll get the back wheel on too.

    Also i've ordered an Aerox front mudguard as my old BW Spy had one.

    Reckon it'll look ok on this bike?
