What's your speed waiting and how fast you wanna go? I doubt you would go fast enough/ far enough to generate the kinda heat needed for the tyre to go pop!

Eventually the tyre will fail. Blow up, rip into pieces etc etc.

Something low I'm sure. Most scooter tyres are. My typhoon is a city bike so doesn't sit at speeds for any amount of time. All speed ratings are taken when the tyre fails after 10 mins at that speed.

I know i was looking pal Bridgestones ML50's or something arnt they? so im just keeping my nrg wheels on the bike now they can go upto speeds of 83mph so that should be enough :), also is that malossi exhaust better than PM Xtech? been offered one for £70 but the down pipe bit has snapped "/

Always more chance of getting higher rated speed tyres with larger wheels. 10" rims are useless for tyres although the tyres I have fitted to my vespa's claim they are rated at 93mph.

    One topic for one subject.

I know the highest speed rating for a tyre that sits on a 10" rim was J which is about 100KMH - 60MPH
