Hello I have a typhoon 172 and I just bought vx forks for it and I was just wondering when I fit them will everything on the clocks work because I will have to buy gilera runner clocks and I want to know if the fuel gage n fuel light etc will work? If not then what modification will be needed?
The forks have nothing to do with the clocks, you will have to modify the forks to fit as the stem is shorter than typhoon. Other members will say you can cut the frame, you can but i think it's a half arsed bodge cos they can't be bothered to do it right! And another thing, the vx forks are longer in the legs and look crap on a typhoon in my opinion!
i didint like the handling on mine as well was 172 on aprilia sr and nrg wheels vx forks felt very unstable on the corners but perfect for landing wheelies
