Hey guys, first post here tho i'v been lookin about for a while. For the back iv got one of the older drum wheels from the older FX runner. My question is whether or not i can fit a runner wheel on the front? Any help would be very apreciated
no, you need skipper or nrg forks to fit a runner wheel to a typh, unless you find a 3 stud disk runner wheel or have an adaptor made for the caliper as the disk is bigger.
Same size as typh rims? I dont like the typhoon wheels, gettin a 172 typh this week and i was hoping to change those wheels but trying to find a rim that fits both front and back is turning out much harder than i thought. If anyone has suggestions they would be very apreciated
what engine is it? ether way sort some nrg forks.. bolt straight in and you can use ether runner or nrg rims... runner on new shape engine and nrg on old shape
Engine is new shape. So if i get some nrg forks (guessing old shape nrg), they'll be a straight swap with the typhoon forks? Does it have the wheel of a specific gilly for the front?
old shape nrg are straight swap (frame is neer identical) the runner wheels are ALL the same 2t or 4 (old shape again)
Thats some banging news right there. Now all I need is some forks and a front wheel and im sorted. Should be gettin the bike tomoro or the next day, has a new 172 kit. A couple days of easy riding should wear it in decently right?
