hi there sorry if i have posted in the wrong section...but basically my typhoon was drinking petrol so i took the carb off and checked that through..was all fine..now it wont start whatsoever...ive checked if fuel is going though and it is..put a new plug in..still not starting...im just confused why as it was running before but was drinking fuel and had to be held on full throttle to get it started...now its not running at all..any ideas would really be appreciated..thanks

yea it is standard apart from a aftermarket exhaust..there is spark yes..as i say it was running but fuel was coming out which looked to be the exhaust up near the gasket..and out of the air box...any ideas

Id say your floats stuck, if fuels going threw the air box, so take the carb apart and put the float back you'll find a video on youtube of how to do it, empty all the fuel out the carb and air filter too, put it all back together and perhaps check your exhaust is tight or try get a new gasket, but that isnt a big problem :)

reeds, just make sure petals navent bent or broke lol, they should be seated on the block nice and flat, hold it up to the light and you shouldn't see any through them:)

okay cheers...would this explain the compression being only 50???? and the huge amount of fuel stored in the head...thanks
