Built a typhoon 172 up from scratch using a (gilera runner loom) I've had it running and the lights were on but then randomly blew all the bulbs (headlight and back light) I left the bike for a whole whilst I saved for parts but now my lights won't come on? Checked and changed the fuses and still nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

Is there a cheap fix? Or is it a case of buy a new regulator?

ide go over all the wiring again PROPERLY check it all for shorts or any dodgy bits.run a multimeter round it too and see if your voltages are dc or ac in the right places..regs do blow sudden, but fitting a new one before checking the possible loom fault could be asking for another one to go
