My typhoon will not start no matter what, I know it has compression, spark, fuel, so I was frustrated why it wouldn't start. It turns over fine. i took off the cylinder and noticed the head gasket was green and cracked. could this be the reason why? or could there be another reason?

The gaskets are green in colour, a split head gasket would not help but it should still run. Replace the gasket since you've found its split but I would try a new plug even tho you got spark, might not be a strong enough spark.

Have you tested that fuel is actually getting into the cylinder?

the carb is fine, as i took it off and checked it all over,, got the new gasket today, still wont start, i also replaced the reed petals as one was chipped, i noticed the piston was scored badly, could this be the reason?

Yes a badly scored piston means your engine has either seized at some point or just really badly worn out, most likely caused from previous owners running shit oil and thrashing it miles on end.

Time for a rebuild me recons.

in January i had a rebuild done by tdr,, running good oil reccomended by them,, so i recon its time for a rebuild already :( i dont thrash it overly,, and i think it has been heat seizing ever since they had it again about two weeks ago :(
