When putting a typh 125 engine on 50's typhoon mounts how many milimetres do you have to cut the mounts by? You have to cut both sides wright?

What else would you advise me to change when doing a 50 to a 125 conversion?

I know I have to change the loom btw.

yes ,typhoon 125 clock if your running a typhoon loom ,with vx forks you will have to use a gilera clock and convert the loom for the gilera clock this you will find this very hard ,ither foget about spedoo or do the right thing do not put vx forks on your typh trust me ive have a typh with them on ,get a good set off nrg forks a use nrg front and rear wheels ,if your engine is a small drum ,or use typhoon forks and get a nrg front 3 bolt wheel

if your usein vxs u will need to cut your frame down and if u want gilly clocks it is best to get a gilly loom but u will need to do some bits for it to work

I doubt it, your best bet is to cut down the mounts bit by bit untill the engine fits. Therefore you wont cut them too short then have to weld new mounts on.

its up to you if you have a full tphoon 125 petrol tank i mean all off it the front bit aswell then you put pump on ,if your using a 50 cc tank then bo you will not need the pump but you will need to block the pipe that comes off the left side off your engine next to were the reed lock goes

    ok nice one mate.....

are the 50's handlebars the same as the 125 handlebars?

also you know that spring on the kick start side wright next to the engine case, where it hooks on to the engine mount and the frame, is that essential to put on as the 50 frame doesn't have the hook that is normally on the 125 frame.

handle bars are the same but after like 2004 there diffent
well your using a 50 frame so u canr't do anything about that ,to be truefull you should use a 125 engine in a 125 frame ,but its up to you
