another one stuck up on hp... its irelevent.. the only point knowing is to brag about it to people, in wich case you can just rev past them an show em how fast it is (or isnt)

hp is anything up to 3.5bhp as anymore is illegal as its no longer a moped. it can be upto 4bhp derestricted (LOL) but the top speed go's from 30 to an EVENTUAL 45/50 (maybe) altho the power and top speed of scooters are absoloutly irelevent figures... so theres no point asking what power blah blah setup or kit or pipe or vcarb or variator or blah blah would make... nobody can guess what it is accuratly and even if you do test it its down to WHAT dyno on what day wiht what programmed into it... afterall anyone wiht a dyno can make 1bhp look like 500 if they so wish...

so ye, got your answer and somthing to bear in mind :)

i only asked as i was curious thats all.so there no need to be sarcastic mate.i know that a 50cc is slow top end but its what i have to deal with as i can only afford to insure a 50 after losing 4 years no claims after my 125 was nicked.if my typhoon is about 5-6 hp then it would probs beat one of those cheapo import trials bikes as they are only 8 and my mate has one of them

its not tho, your adding 4bhp for a pipe and 2 for a carb..., or some nonsence like that, its not how it works... your bike is back to having the carb it should (17.5 is the stock size for 90% of piaggio scoots) so its not 2bhp its 3.5 wiht the carb (at most) and wiht the pipe your probably squeezing another 1 or two out.... so no, its more like 5bhp.. and even thats a blind guess (going by piaggio's stock figure for there bike) fact is a typhoon 125 is ment to be 12.5bhp.. its more like 7. torque is a more important factor wiht these as its torque that moves you, hp is just the added up torque at high rpm... so its an irelevent figure

think about it, torque is a single turning force... meaning that is the power to your wheel in a single tuirn of the crank.. hp is how much torque you use at many revolutions, you ether loose torque to time = high hp and low torque at high rpm or you loose time to torque (low rpm with high torque low hp) so again, knowing/guessing wqhat hpo you have to compair to your m8's bikes (exactly what i assumed) is irelevent as 8bhp isnt the same on everyh bike.. FAR from it.

you need to forget about bhp untill you have your bike on a dyno, and even then its just to give you an idea. if you want to concern yourself wiht anything time your 0-30 or 0-60 time.... far more relative thing to discuss..and somthing your not just guessing at down the park like....its somthing you can try/improve and prove to anyone..
