Hi all. Almost finished the rebuild, just a couple of minor things that are new to me (used to bikes rather than scooters).

I've come to reinstall the transmission cover, I'd left the clutch drum retaining nut and washer on the driven shaft and assumed it would be obvious when I came to re install :-/ . I'm not sure if the washer goes on, then the transmission cover, then the nut or cover first then washer and nut, i.e. washer outside the cover and in direct contact with the nut, this would be my best guess...

I know this sounds like a small detail but will make the difference to the stress the transmission is under.

    Advice appreciated

Yes, I meant the driven pulley with clutch. The problem with the parts diagram is that it doesn't show the transmission cover, the big nut obviously goes outside the cover but it's not clear whether the washer fits inside or outside the cover.

Anyway, it's all back together now and running. Some odd noises coming from the front (drive) pulley, this may be normal as far as I know!?
    Cheers
