Right then, sold my 50 runner, and got hold of a typhoon 125, with a 172 malossi kit on it, bikes pretty much standard other that the bore, but i have big plans for it. I'm thinking... -180 variator -scorpion exhaust -polini clutch -180 belt -malossi reeds -25mil carb -open air filter (not yet decided brand) Will this be to much to put on an air cooled typhoon with out changing the crank, or will it be ok on a standard crank ?. P.S. pics up soon !!
should post the question in workshop..... Then post this in projects when its a project rather than just plans And when you have pics. But sounds alright, About the crank, depends how many miles the crank has done, and as everyone suggests ALL the time, it would be better to get new crank, bearings and seals after any top end work.
that setup should be fine as your crank has done fuck all mileage...wouldnt bother wasteing your money on the clutch tho dude..waste of time..if anything just change your clutch springs
dont see the problem with posting a project without pics if you are intending to add them... i had no camera for a while and couldent upload pics but still had a project on the go.
agreed with gazell the crank should be fine if its done jack crap miles.. and not many people do the polini clutch since they are expensive and cluthc springs are alot cheaper to get... 180 varos are good since they can add abit of top end and gives u a better range of rollers to play with 180 polini belt goes perfect with the 180 varo and get a better reed block if your gettin a 25m carb every little helps and scorps look sweet on typhs (look at terros beast)
