So I just rebuilt my Piaggio typhoon with a 172 kit, 25mm carb, scorpion, other tuning parts.
45 idle jet, 105 main, AQ266, D24 needle (Top clip). I have come down from it being 110 main, 48 idle, needle second clip from top.

I start it up and a shit load of thick white smoke comes out the exhaust, it will only start with a little bit of throttle. I can't see it being jetting causing this. Any ideas?
I can only think a seal was blown, but these were brand new in :(

How much fuel have you gone through since the rebuild? Generally when doing a rebuild you fill the thing with oil and also run premix just to be sure so you end up with a huge amount of smoke till you get through a couple of tanks...

Yeah, I'm reckoning that's the problem
Pain in the ass to set it up to tick over too, but also if it's burning off all the oil it wont be running 100% right.
I'll give it a bit and see what happens when I get in tonight.
Finally got round to getting it together, got it on a rear disc brake now.
