Yes it is, that carb may be jetted slightly bigger as it say's it's for a runner, the typhoon main jet is a 82.5, slide and needle should be the same but not 100% sure. Have you problems with your existing carb?

The std carb work's very well even on a kitted engine, I had to buy a carb off the German bay because I couldn't find one in the UK. £75 inc post as I could not get a 20.5mm dellorto to work.

Yes, the typhoon carb uses the same main jets as the dellorto (6mm), upjet to 90-92 ish with a 172 kit, std exhaust, slightly bigger if using a good pipe.

Okay cheers yeah I'm gonna use the standard exhaust and my local said they have no carbs in stock I don't mind purchasing one of e bay but it's not the original carb and I just wanna instal ASAP. Has anyone got a spare mikuni vm20 for a typhoon xr ? Will pay

So I've jetted the bike up to a size 83 and it's running way too rich no throttle response at all it was 50 before but I'm not sure where to go in between with such a big carb the 50 seems rich but I haven't run it on the airbox ? Just foam any ideas ?
