Hi there guys wondering if you could help me with this one, my bike occasionally unexpectedly bogs out? Today i was riding down the A road at 50mph for maybe a minute and all of a sudden it bogged out, i had to move from the third lane to the inside lane and speed began to fluctuate. Eventually after a while i thought i must of been low on petrol but the gauge was fine and it sprung back to life. I was out on the bike for an hours journey and covered 16 miles, this bogging down moment was probably 2 minutes of my journey time. Bike has a sports exhaust and air filter

This has happened to me previously

    Not sure if it's?

    a) A jetting issue
    b) Fuel tap
    c) head gasket
    d) spark plug
    e) dirty fuel tank
    f) dirty carb
    g) manifold leak
This is all i can think off and would appreciate you opinions.

It late in the evening now so i cant really look over the bike.

Please give me some input on this?

my bike bogged going up hills after a while of having my 172 kit on, think its a carb issue with jetting, as i cleaned my carb and it still done it but when i got a new carb my bike was perfect.

Does it happen when ur near fully revving or going up hills, if so its a main jet issue. and you may need to upjet due to the sports pipe.

If it's running std carb use the original airbox.

Haven't got original airbox and yes it's on standard carb.

Also this happened to me on full throttle but previously didn't
