I am having problems starting my typhoon, i recently had it tuned by tdr and it was running fine but unjetted slighlty. i took it bad had a service and also a polini variator fitted . ever since then when i open it up a little i just jolted back and cut out,, and started about 5 mins lateer. now it wont start atall. i checked everything and all is good except i noticed the piston is badly scored. could this be the fault of it not strarting. and it is turning over. cheers

Well first get the plug out check colours of the plug then report back .Whilst doingthat put the plug on the head and check for a nice spark .

A way to see if its a fuel problem is put a little of fuel into the cylinder were the plug goes, if it starts then your not getting your fuel mix to the cyclinder.

A scored piston would corse problem ,but saying that my aerox had a very badly scored piston and went fine still will , with another set of rings and gasket but id would rather put another kit .

Any way do that then report back. :)

no thats ur gearbox oil...you checked ur reeds..put them to light and if you can see any through the block, where the reeds meet it then you need new reeds

If you've taken it to a tuning shop, had work done then got it back running shit why not just take it back to the shop and ask if they would sort it.

Should be free of charge since they last touched the bike, it supprises me sometimes how shops can give people their bike back running like shit.. I would be embarrased to return a customers bike running badly.

if it's UNJETTED to suit the mods............. it can melt the piston. :)
