where can i get a full typh pan set from. ne idea's i no i can get pans from scooter-center but is there newere that sell full set's. cratch:
yer tried piaggio spares , there a rip lol , front pan is like 85 quid. and side pans are like 55 each. the local shop called scooter cafe here in reading said a full set would be like 450 odd pound. I LOL'D
Typhoons don't have pattern panel sets like some other bikes. They used to but don't anymore. You can however get the front panel, left and right rear panels and the handlebar panel as pattern parts which are slightly cheaper than stock but they are unpainted and aren't of the same quality. You are still looking at about £200 for just those 4 panels unpainted. A full set for about £450 is about right. A good paint job is about £300 so £150 more for the panels is around the price you will be looking at. You will NEVER find a full set of typhoon panels that isn't resprayed or scratched. They are rare and normally quite expensive when they do turn up. Simple fact is if you need a set of typhoon panels you need to spend a long time hoping single panels turn up on gumtree and ebay that happen to have all the lugs and are in a good enough condition to spray then find a good local painter.
yer 450 should be about right then , and scooter cafe is a piaggio dealer so its original parts so thats a good deal , but i found a braker on ebay gonna do whole set for £80 inc delivery that's with front , 2 sides , belly pan , numberplate light , back pan and handlebar pan in silver he says ther's no cracks but a couple of scratch's. :yahoo:
Just hope he isn't a cunt or retarded. When I was trying to get a full set together I ended up with so many side panels with no lugs even though they weren't described as so.
too true terro i bout a whole typh 50 because all the lugs on the front pan were there hahaha ive got a fair few typh pans though so will have a look through if you want me too? ive just about got myself a decent set to paint for my project. might turn out cheaper to buy a cheap 125 typh sell the rest of it then your left with the panels
