Alright people, havent been on here since i sold my last ped in 2011. Getting bored of cars already so im wanting to start a new project but need abit of advice/info. Im looking for a typhoon 125 but really struggling to find one. Does anyone know if a 125cc typhoon engine would fit straight into a 50cc frame or would it need some work? I plan on building a fast 172 that will shock cars at traffic lights.

Before anyone kicks off ive used the search function and had no luck as people just seem to argue on here.

    Cheers, Liam.

Yes you can bodge a 125 into a 50 frame but it's not right, it will vibrate and are horrible to ride. People say it's ok but Mr Piaggio didn't fit all the suspension joint, silent bush if it wasn't needed. These people also don't realise that the 125 engine hangs off a spring and the silent bush is a vabration damper and the cradle joint stops engine's side to side movement. There is plenty of 125's on ebay, one of my own 125 typhoons is still for sale!

Ahh i see, cheers for the info mate. Regarding 125s on ebay ive been looking all the time but i can only see new ones or 4 strokes. I just want a spares or repares bike with cases etc and start from stratch. Cheers.

There's one on now for spares or repair, it's at £227 already, you don't get cheap 125's!
