Well.. Yesterday after riding around i thought i would go to my Gf's for a pit stop... Was all fine until i had something to eat and went back out on the beast until the electric start wasn't working ;(... Realizing that the guy i bought it off said he'll give me some new spare parts (alternator kick start spindel thingy) i realized that he was going to put the new alternator on but didn't hence why it came with the spare.. would of been nice if he told me So battery was naff and got my nan to take me home. Instantly took of the fan cover, and couldn't get past the flywheel so today i shall make up some little tool like the ones you can buy. Put the new alternator on! and then put in the little kickstart cog thingy
Personally I'd avoid using the electric start anything to be honest if it kicks ok. Nice bike to be honest for the money, I bet it pulls well!
Mmm yeahh might do that actually but its worth sorting out the alternator right? And yeah i shall sort out the kickstart once i can get the frigging side case of the scooter! Ill post up this picture and you'll see whats wrong with the kickstart.. i've got a new cog.. just needs attatching. And yeha i thought it was quite cheap for what it is! and has got.. veryy fast yeah
850 squid, definitely not a bad price for that. Are the engine cases black or just bare metal cant quite tell but the red sets it off nicely. Best way of getting case off is impact wrench on clutch nut and about four years to take the bolts off if they are allen bolts like mine!!
