I crashed my C90 last Saturday, I got my new bike on Tuesday afternoon and today as of 16:25 its written off. So its almost like I've had two write-offs in two and a half days.

This got me thinking, has anyone done worse than this, maybe equaled but I don't see how it could be beaten lol, and is it time to move in to cage driving because this this shit hurts. Or should i persist and hope my bad look passes?

Did you learn anything that would make it less likely that you will crash in future? If you didnt may be you should think about cages.

My lad crashed his scoot earlier this week and wrote it off, but now he knows he's got to think about other drivers being able to see him when they are pulling out of very blind junctions. I know that if i was riding the street he crashed on i would probably be doing about 10-15 mph at the junctions where he was doing about 25 - 30. But then again i've been riding bikes for 30 odd years now so i tend to ride round thinking:

The best place for everyone is behind me, at least they SHOULD be looking that way.

Every junction has a car that is going to arrive and pull straight out without looking, so make sure i've got somewhere to go if they do.

Everybody else on the road is thick and cant drive so you have to think for them.

The most important one is EVERYBODY IS TRYING TO KILL YOU ALL OF THE TIME!

Ah well at least hes ok and still want to carry on, shame he'd only been on the road a week!

Yeah my road craft and awareness is pretty sharp, I'm not some 16 or 17 year old blasting round corners holding there legs out.

The c90's frame snapped in half and I latterly got blown in to a bollard yesterday on my new bike so no I didn't learn anything really because the events were not dictated by my actions. At a push I would say don't ride when its strong wind but you cant let the elements dictate transport all the time especially in England.

Yeah the frame snapped which pulled the throttle cable open, and the back break was pinned to the floor due to the break and using the front break hard when the bikes like that isn't advised. I kept it up right and put it in to a wire fence whilst i got the keys out of my pocket (jump out of the barrel if i go over a bump too fast so keep hem in my jacket) and cut the engine.

stick with it mate, you will come round to it
is the c90 gonna get a re-frame??, shame to see another "bog seat" taken off the road.

I broke the bike because my technical prowess just about stretches to making a brew. The frame and the v5 have gone to some old boy in county durham so technically it'll sill be on the road but the other bits have gone all over the England, Ireland and Isle of Man.

Yeah my uncle has one of those BMW's and a 916. He uses the BM for commuting and the 916 when he has nothing important to do incase it breaks down which is more likely to happen than not lo.
