Hi there i have a sr125 2001 which i brought spares and repairs to fix up and spray all my evos for it but i am abit stuck on what to do.

As i usually ride motorcross but i do know alittle bit of stuff,i wanna built a fast and reliable every day ped which is good on fuel(i know with a bore it will blow up adventrly(sorry about the spelling) i am thinking a 172 or a 180 malossi bore with a 54 or55mm crank with a secondry gear up kit not anything else because i see somewhere the more u tune it, the qucker it blows up.

    Thanks josh

172 kit and the pm pipe (for the sr) will put a smile on your face... Maybe a varo too. Wouldn't bother with clutch springs etc. if your putting a decent crank in then upgrade you carb. Plenty quick enough and reliable. (given the fact that you get it all fitted correctly)

Well scooter transmission setup has no relevance to anything else so tell them to throw anything they may know out the window. It can also cause issues that mechanics wrongly think is just carb setup.
