well the most reliable sports kits like the polini/malossi cast irons only give
high single figure h.p at the back wheel anything from 7 to 9 hp...

so for 10hp and higher the malossi MHR rep kit would be a good reliable choice ;)

of course bigger carb...good sports/mid race pipe would be needed amongst other things!!!

The best you will find on eBay is 2 extreme products.

Go for big names, you then know you will get something that will last, be worth the money and will have warranty.

    http://scooter-center.com

Well i know some people will disagree with me but i think scooter center is the best to buy from, easy site to navigate around, easy payment system and within 1 week they will be at your door! Although i don't think they work weekends.

Can i just ask though, if you are on a budget why do you want to double hp? If you buy a £150-£200 70cc kit and then buy a £50 cheap ass crank that says "Maximum revs 16000" (which isnt true). It would be costing you more money in repairs.

I know i didnt help, but.... nice to meet you lol ;)

well ive heard good things about them kits, meant to be quite powerful so i wouldnt risk it on a standard crank...

if i keep a standard carb on the bike would it still put alot of strain on my crank?

if you want a decent reliable sport setup, go for

    polini sport 70 kit...
    lazer x pro exhaust...
    21 ml carb...
then set it all up perfectly

there is a guide on the homepage which explains all this......

    with prices and hp figures.

Cheap, fast and reliable don't go together.

You have a few options... The budge quick tuning setup from http://www.scootershack.co.uk/budget50guide.html but it will go bang.

Or you spend more to get the same performance with more reliability. MHR Rep with a Yasuni City 16 and hope you crank can take it.

You just can't do it unless it's a 172. 50cc are expensive to tune and are unreliable at anything thats getting quick.
