Hey guys. I'm planning on getting an Aerox R SP55 50cc in a couple of weeks time, and my dad and I found a Turbocharger kit on eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ELECTRIC-...R-MOPED-PIT-DIRT-MINI-MOTO-BIKE-/320982262328) and I was wondering is it possible to fit it onto a 2 stroke engine? I realise it can blow the engine up, but I was also thinking of getting an exhaust for more air to power the turbine. As I'm a newbie, I have noooo idea. Any advice would be grateful! Thank you!
oh dear. Please follow the following steps to enlightenment: 1. Avoid shiny ebay hairdryer like the plague 2. Have a google for how 2 stroke engines work 3.Read over many threads on this forum for education 4.Have some arrogant twat on a forum (me) patronise you for a bit and warn you away from 50cc 4 strokes... 5. ...Because they are stylish paperweights with next to no tuning potential 6. Get aerox, ride aerox, enjoy aerox 7. Learn to fix aerox when it breaks 8. Fit performance pipe, upjet and fit correct rollers 9. Rake about on aerox till it breaks again 10. Fix aerox and go back to step 9 You are now officially enlightened and will have become one of us
Hahahahaha! One of the best posts ive seen in a while. But silly newbies posting things like that deserve a patronizing answer.
we all gotta start somewhere.......... But asking if a better exhaust will get more air to power the ELECTRIC turbine? sigh
I'd seriously forget all about adding that electric turbine bag of shite. It'll not work and destroy your engine in the process. Like others have mentioned, buy a good exhaust (Leovincw etc), upjet and change the rollers. Then if you're not happy with what you've got have a serious thought about buying a 70cc kit or a bigger bike. There's plenty of crap on eBay that promise performance for very little. My advice would be don't go anywhere near these and just stick to the good old tried and tested tunining methods.
Damn it, thanks anyway guys. As you can sorta tell, I'm new! Sound like a clown so will be quiet now ahaha
