trex 50 minarelli 70 kit help

hey,
i have a pgo trex 50 with: polini corsa 70cc kit, 12 gram rollers, a tecnigas nxt r exhaust, and everything else standard, oh and the engine is a minarelli horizontal,
anyway the problem is that the bike is topping out at about 52mph i was expecting more speed can anyone suggest any other simple modifications??

what size carb you running as standard? was it upjetted........ the corsa kit is advised to have a bare minimum of a 17.5 mm carb............ people here would probably advise 19/21 to get the best out of it.


Those rollers sound a bit heavy to me, how is the acceleration?


Exhaust isn't at the top of it's game either.

 

as Guns said, those rollers sound too heavy...and the exhaust isnt really the best for that kit to be honest...

you dont mention if the revs seem low and the performance flat, which is the main symptoms of too heavy rollers :glare:

try dropping the rollers weight...
