Ok i have just bought a Non-running gilera dna of my mate for £50 and i don't know anyone with a Van.

Am i allowed to push it to my house on the pavement ? Or is there some silly law like it has to be insurned when pushing it ?

I've pushed loads of uninsured non-running scooters on the pavement in South London, where loads of police are.. Only been stopped once and they only wanted to know if I stole it.. So I assume you'll be alright

you can get done for it im sure, but just put the keys elsewhere etc etc and dont sit on it and wheel it lol.

youd need a really picky cop to wana pull the book out and look up the law over pushing a bike

You can't get areasted if the keys are in your pocket. It's classed as a push bike. I got pulled over when I got my bike. They said it was fine.

if your pishing a bike on the street, the most police will usually ask you is; if its yours, have you stolen it, the usual crack.. lol been stopped many times and the police got the same response every time - yes its mine, do you seriously think im gonna stand here and chat to you whilst holding up a stolen fookin bike? im going home, bye.

but to add, you should be ok pushing it home mate

If you plan on pushing it you better make sure the tyres are pumped up.

I would never ever push a bike 3 miles if I had a choice.
