Transmission Oil top up or change?

I bought my scooter an Elyseo 125 with 17k on the clock i have never changed the transmission oil, i do the engine oil regularly.

The scoot has done 41k now so it needs topping off or changing just wondering which to do?

Advice please.

 

Check the colour of the oil, if it's clean then leave it alone, i rarely change oil in the gearbox, only time is if i fit a gear kit or the like.

 

So if its black change it otherwise top up?

 

Id just change the lot. Atleast youno its fresh

 

hmmmm good point plus the tube i got is a one shot silkoline dose so it would be a waste if i used half.
