why do people with 50ccs chat out there arse about their top speed of their bike!! i find it funny i have 40% gear up kit with doppler s7r and doppler endurance crank quite a powerful set up, and downhill with legs and arms tucked in i can just sqweese 72mph. i get people coming up to me on derestricted 50's telling me there gettin 55-60 on flat and i just dont believe it! when are people gonna actually be honest|!_?

 

Because a derissed 50 piggy engine with a good sports exhaust will do a real 55mph. Just because you can't get your bike to go fast, doesn't mean anyone else can't.

 

my bike goes like 65 flat just with leovice exhaust (derestricted) malossi variator, stage 6 belt and malossi clutch , also upjetted

 

i've had my Yamaha neos 50 to 54 down a slight hill not tuned that much...

setup:
racing exhaust
3g rollers
red clutch springs

i've been told that it will go alot faster with a decent spark plug and a polini drive belt...

so i think i could get 55-60 on it.

 

you have to bare in mind that with your set up you should hit your top speed before they hit theres. its not about top speed its about acceleration pal wooosh

 

I get 45-50mph tops on my speedfight with:
Polini sport 70cc kit
Doppler s3r
Polini variator and clutch

Although mine is probably setup wrong. Top speed is off koso clocks, which I believe to be pretty accurate.

 

not really talking out their arse if the clock is inaccurate, chill out and stop complaining

 

i get 50mph out of my speedfight without 70 kit only tt sport exhaust..derestricted

 

i eisily get 50mph on my neos 50cc de restricted....

A standard (de rez'd) does like 50-52 clock speed.
I know its likely to be lower than that as a gps speed but with your setup surely you should be able to get over 56? :L

 

on my yellow sym jet euro x with a airsal 70cc single ring kit and a stock exhaust with 6.4gm rollers
im getting 60mph+ on the speedo but 56mph useing a satnav
on my blue and sliver sym jet just derestricted im hitting 44mph useing satnav and 48 clock speed

 

2010 aerox, doppler s3r, stronger clutch springs, 3.4g rollers and upjet.

aerox clocks are pretty bad, mine only seem to be accurate up to 20!

coming to a 'your speed' sign, my clocks said 50+ but only had 41 on there.

but true top end being clocked by my mate in his polo, on a good day, no wind, smooth flat road, i can just about scrape 50mph! however tailing a lorry on a good day i'd love to be clocked! (;

but sadly, any other day, topps about 45 ¬_¬

but to be perfectly honest, i'm not too bothered because it gets there pretty quick
