Hi Peeps, thought if i posted in this section maybe someone will be able to help my stupid arse out. I have a 25mm carb (phbl) changed my main jet yesterday and found that when i removed the nut/jet the fuel didn't stop flowing, i know you usually have to empty the float bowl but it kept coming from the carb. I'm sure it's a vacum problem but don't know where the problem lies. Is there a vacum tap on the bottom of tank? Cheers
Now that is service lol only posted a minute ago, cheers. Is the tap a replaceable item, i.e is it a seperate item attatched to the tank?
yup.. ont he runner it is mounted to the bottom of the small clear tank above the main fuel tank just infront of the seat.. one jubilee type clip an its out. cheap part tbh an they are known for going

i think mine must be bust to ,if i take the fuel line off the carb petrol just pours out?what problrm does this cause then
runners only have a small reserve tank fed by a pump but with a typh/nrg or similar single tank the fuel will flow through the carb and out the overflow till you run out.. also if you get a small hole in the float bowl you will loose fuel overnight. best to replace it
