been umming and aring about getting a 70 kit and im gonna get one now. going for a stage 6 street race, seem to get good reviews and have 2 rings and should last a while! my setup at the moment is below and im planning on keeping the standard carnk and am looking for re-assurance basically that its not gona snap, im gona obviously set it up properly but it sounds stupid but my bike is mint and i love it and dont wanna fuck it up! what does everyone think? thanks lads, :grin: dan
You'd need a 21mm carb as well I think that it should be alright because that's the same sort of stress i'm going to put on crank(or I hope it will be alright, haha). I'd just suggest just being careful with the revs. I don't know what the aerox is but I know my crank's rated to 10,000 rpm. If you find out what yours is rated to and keep it under that you should be okay
umm im not an idiot, dont NEED a 21mm ive got a 17.5 which will run fine, and if you dont actually know, can you not post... thanks for trying to help anyway. and cheers ishigham, was worrying that i would have to get a new crank! :grin:
