Hi guys I am so pissed off with this brake on my typhoon it will not bleed. What I want to know is is there any other throttle kit that I can use instead as in maybe nrg 50etc? I want to put a proper brake on but the typhoon one throttle cable is too close to handle bar and doesn't allow me to fit the front brake master cylinder?
One off a gilera runner, zip, nrg... Anything with a front master cylinder. You also have to cut the handlebar panel to get the master cylinder to fit under it.
Hi Terro Do I just use the trottle kit or do I have to change the cabling as by the looks of it the typhoon screws in and the gilera has a clip on the end? I have been offered a throttle kit off a gilera 125 with the cables attached so these may attach to the carb and oil pump? Cheers
Not all typhoons run a screw in throttle cable but yeah if yours does then you will need to either get one of these or change the cable. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/94230000/Screw+nipple+throttle+cable.aspx I'd get the whole lot if you can just to make things easier. Always nice to have spares.
