\most important thing on your bike is your brakes and your throttle cable.. theres been 4 crashes that are supposedly down to this. are people that stingey they wont spend out 7 quid on a new cable when it obviously feels tight/sticky/notchey?

basicly im not being a cunt, im sayin if in doubt SORT IT befor it costs you your bike, mabey your life.. there is NO excuse for no brakes or a stuck throttle cable.. no excuse atall othger thsan lazyness/improper mantenance of your vehicle.. if you cant keep ontop of the mantenance of your bike ether take it to somone with a clue or dont play about with it..

Its a government conspiracy to get scooters off the road....they come round at night and put little catch on your throttle cables so they can open but not close...

    beware...

take the fekin cable off and just visually check for waer and tear, any cracks in the casing, frayed bit etc, wat i do is

get a small plascit bag, wrap it around either end of the cable and tape it really tight so it forms a sort of cup around the casing end, then simply get some lube and pour it in and wait till it comes out teh other side.

have always done this, and never had a sticky cable in my life

order a new cable and wait the 2-3 days it will take to be delivered,or go out and buy one , why take it to a garage for something so petty?

take it off and replace it the same way.

disconect from throttle assembly and follow it down to the carb, disconnect from the slide and hey presto :D

to whoever needs to ask about a cable... please, dont touch your bike just yet, read up! this is why kids die on scoots (not just an imadgenary thing that happens far away.. ive lost a few m8's to poorly mantained bikes, keep your throtle an brakes tip top.. first and last thing to worry about. every time i start my bike i check the throtle is working and the slide is hitting the screw. as should everyone.
