if its so loose that its not fully opening the slider then it could do. best get it changed and set up correctly asap, there is a thread i read on here somewhere stating that they are one of the most abused parts of a scooter and are very rarely serviced or replaced. might aswell do it while you have a reason to before it goes on you
I checked it at the weekend it was a little loose I tightened it a little and got a few extra mph. Cheers for the reply.
