    ok call me a thick twat lol but i aint got no clue bout scooters,

    does up jettin ur scoot add speed, cus i thought the more fuel consumption would mean a litle more speed lol,

    please help me lol, cheers

    lol na it dont mate, but u aint far off the right lines ther. once u understand the principles of a 2-stroke you'll learn alot more.
    But think of it as, a bigger piston& barrel, the volume of mix in the chamber is increased, meaning a biggger detonation on a stroke.
    Which yes, does use more petrol.
    Read thru all the old posts in differnt topics and you'll comes across loadssss of useful info that will help u undastand the basics of how a scoot is modified and the general tuning of a 2stroke.

    you can actually get more power from a 2 stroke by down jetting, the only problem with this is the motor runs hotter and melts the piston crown.
