No.plate with no holes & not bothered taking the mudguard off to figure where to drill holes ?
Put the bolts on backwards touch with tippex press on plate and bosh :).
..........then go and find your rechargeable drill cause you burnt motor out on the hammer brassing down a frame.;).

Heavy vehicles cause ruts in the surfaces. Add into that the thicker than normal solid coloured lines and you tend to ride up them rather than over them, then add any damp into a solid coloured surface ( as we all know white lines when wet are lethal ) and you have the near perfect storm for an off moment:mad:

Ok so, new boots on the GSXF, but couldn't take them to my usual place for balancing due to this Covid-19 lockdown.
So I decided to make a video to show how to STATIC BALANCE your own wheels.
It's all very simple, no special tools required, just patience.
I can't upload it here because it's a bigger file than the site allows, so I've uploaded it to my uTube channel.

I got a new to me motor for the atv. Did a 600mile trip.
Still several feet of snow on the mountain haukeli.
They have only plowed the main road because of Corona, they don't want people to go to the cabins.

Got myself added as a dealership for cmsnl. Cool stuff.
    Sent an order already.
Started trying to work out the xv920 to tgb driveline...
    Hmmm....
I need an old xv driveshaft to cut, but really don't want to hack into a good usable one...

pulled my mid race 70cc out of my shed the other day, it looked like a barn find.

it hasnt been on the road since 2012... is it even seized ?

gave it a once over, cleaned off all the dust, drained the 8 year old vintage petrol out of the tank put some fresh petrol in.

plenty of kicks.. and she burst in to life, filled the garden with Castrol TTS smoke ( which stopped being made a few years ago) .

its good to be back

TTS is just under another name now. Power 2t or something like that.
I love starting up old bikes, when the exhaust is full of oil and you get that nice smelling cloud of toxicity, super unhealthy, but damn it smells good.
