    Fixed a 57 tempo handy today. New fuel and cleaned the carb.
    Anyone else here know what a tickler is and how to use one?
    Hahaa.
    Forget your auto choke and Capacitor discharge ignition...
    Old motors are fun. Old brake however are NOT...

    Castrol Power 10w40/Castrol Power 2t
    Or
    Motul.?.

    Need to mill 2mm off the head of the tomos. Even without any gasket paper the squish is over 3mm

    Took the goldwing for a little spin yesterday with the boys, went to DK Motorcycles in Stoke.
    The cafe had run out of bacon and sausage, not good, no breakfast.
    Had a browse around the "museum", I counted 7 Kawasaki H triples, and a couple of Suzuki GE5's with the rotary engines.
    My eyes fell onto a couple of 'things' that might end up in my garage.......o_O

    Its had a high comp head on it for ages, im more worried about the rod/big end.

    F YOU steve.... now im really doubtful about the rod. Just measured it. 6mm thick whats the formula for calculating stress....
