the squish?????????????????

    i have just found out about this thiong called the squish and i think i have to do it to set my bore up right. what do i have to do????

    polini evolution 70cc not ported, motofore evo crank

    the piston that comes with the bore and thecrank is 12mm

    it will say what squish to run on the instructions that come with the evo2 , i would say around 0.70-0.80 mm for fast road use , although even that might be to low for that crank , btw the evo in the name of the crank has nothing to do with the evo2 bore kit ( if you where thinking they go together because of the name , if not dont worry about it )

    at the moment i have the normal gasket in that was in the whole gasket set but i havnt used any of the others but it seems fine how will know if its not

    agree with pro race dragster there, 0.7mm should be fine, usually below 1mm is ok for road use, dont go below 0.6mm though.

    how do i make it that by trying different gaskets???

    yeah space it up or down with thicker/thinner base gaskets, use 0.8mm gauge solder wire to measure your clearance.

    and just how do i do that because it deosnt say in my polini setting up guide tht came with the bore

    fit the bore without head gaskets, place some 0.8 or 1mm solder wire between the piston and head ans turn to top dead centre, should just start to crush the 1mm wire.
