Should be ashamed of themselves. I was scammed by an ebay seller purporting to sell PPE equipment. I only realised when I read his feedback and by then it was too late grrrr. Note to myself; always read feedback before parting with your hard earned dough.

Disgusted watching the news this morning !!?,
NHS Staff and others along that line of work - having to hide their faces when complaining about the bureaucrats hampering proper protective equipment going out to them in order to protect themselves during this crisis for fear of loosing their jobs.!!!!.

I don't think that's the case Mark. There is a world wide demand for PPE at the moment and there is not enough in the supply chain, or enough in world wide stocks to cover every countries demands.
The majority of products produced are made in china as well, so take their lockdown into the equation and it's inevitable that the stock levels will go down dramatically.
The same happened after the Boxing Day Tsunami some years ago, but it happened to tech. The price of computer memory and hard drives went through the roof because they couldn't supply due to not being able to make them. And the shortage arrived very quickly after. It took month's to recover the previous levels.
Again, the same happened at the start of the last war.
Supply and demand of the necessary products and materials was in huge backlogs, all because this country didn't make the necessary stuff that was required at the time. So companies were told to stop producing whatever they were producing and start producing what was needed for the war effort.
The same is starting to happen again now. Companies are being told to stop doing their normal things and start producing things for this situation.
The Mercedes Formula 1 Team for instance with the ventilators. Who'd have thought that a racing team would be able to produce those by the 1000's????
It's a world wide effort to beat this thing, and it's going to take some doing, but we'll get there......eventually.
Everyone WILL GET THEIR PPE, priority workers will be the first to get it, then it will filter down to the rest of us in order of priority, but it's not going to be as fast as people demand. Plainly because it's just not physically possible.
There isn't going to be a Covid-19 home test you can buy on the internet next week, and anyone who tries to sell you one, is a scam artist.
There isn't going to be a vaccination next week, and we will not be back to normal next week, but we will get there.
More people are going to die world wide, but we will get there
Society will change world wide because of this, but we will get there
Business will change world wide because of this, but we will get there

Look at it like this; it's Mother Nature giving us a wake up call.
Humans evolve, animals evolve, viruses evolve.
This is another stage in evolution, where a virus has jumped species.
And not for the first time.
Sars, Mers, Swine Flu, Chicken Flu, Aids; all viruses that jumped species.
All viruses that the human race was not prepared for, but with the exception of one, we have beaten. And we're getting there on the last one.

I can fully understand peoples frustration at not being able to get out, do their normal thing. Having to stay home all the time is not our normal way of life, having to queue for the supermarket is not our normal thing, our freedom has been severely curtailed, and it's a bitch.
    Personally I hate it.
But it's what we all have to do, it's for the greater good of everyone in the bigger scheme.

What's right with raping cows, drinking their lactate and then killing their babies?
    You can't win this argument....
The food that gets fed to just cows, is more than enough, to feed the world 2 times over....
    I can keep going....
Where I live, 98 percent of slaughtered animals don't see the light of day... Considering here we are a land about 20 times the size of the UK... That's actually sickening... I can go on, but I won't.... Because I know I will get the ban hammer...
People don't like to open their eyes. It took me 28 years...

Hmmm. Nope.... We have a long intestinal tract as per herbivores... Sure we have encisors and canines, but so do a lot of other herbivores.... (Bats for example)...
Regardless of that, we can get all our nutrients from plants.
Sure 1000 years ago we needed to eat meat, but now you can go buy 100 different products with healthier and more nutrients than any animal based burger or sausage....
Seriously I could keep going... I can go into the psychology tactics of the meat industry.... Ever wondered why we call it beef and now cow?....

Vegan lifestyles more niche/specialist than normal diets, during this COVID/19 bollocks - should start up a thread ..would encourage short blasts on your scooter sourcing your eats - police are getting a little entitled up here in London a bit when peeps are walking about.;).
