Reasonably good genes from parents - my perseverance has finally paid off & I've secured the type of job I've been looking for - it's local & we're talking single digits on the mileage .
Having an imagination factory in my head. Just had a few Bevvy's & woke with the tail end of a 'I have a dream scenario' - Yamaha V-Max,supercharged...... With a sidecar............ &hitchhikers..
Unlimited data package on phone - Kushti for Sunday mornings & Ggreeeeeaaaaat for winding up those do-gooders from the electorial commission........could feel the guys veins throbbing in his forehead online.hehehehe.
Doing research occasionally before getting deeply involved in things - people who just make your day coming up with 'quips/like - 'not been to this place before but this guy sounds like the making of a legend'..
RIP Norton motorcycles. You would have been 122 but you were sold down the river by some loser scammer selling non existing shares whose now behind bars I believe. Lets hope you find a new buyer soon mate and bring you back to life ( although I think the chances of that are a million to 1. Reputation badly damaged.
A big thank you to my mate Basil Thrush who borrowed my scoot today and sensing something wasn't right compared to his bike, decided to check tyre pressures. They were massively overinflated. Well over 300kpa whereas they should have been 225kpa. Manual says 250 absolute max. Bike now feels smoother and less bouncy/choppy (especially over bleeding potholes), feels more grippy round corners and generally a better ride all round. Little bit slower though if I'm not mistaken but that's a small price to pay. Will make a note to check pressures more often in future. Still don't know why they were so high. I obviously made a stupid schoolboy error when I last checked them Doh!!!
Better too much than too little.... I tend to run with about that in mine. Makes the tyres last forever, but kills your back. My back is screwed anyway...
WPL RC. Those guys are miles ahead with customer service and product development. I'm not talking about just RC businesses, but in most industry.
I'm only just getting into this hobby, it's a lot of fun. Mainly for my 3 year old son. He loves building them, and knows what all the components are, right down to the front and rear diff. He learnt left and right helping me build one.
That's pretty impressive for a 3 year old. I think their brains are like sponges at that age in respect that their ability to absorb knowledge and information is amazing.
He knows everything in 2 languages as well. It's incredible actually. You tell him a word in one language, like drive belt, he repeats it, then you tell him in the second Reim (the Norwegian word for it). And again he repeats, and that's it. Done. He knows it after that. One time.... Future mensa member I guess
Turning a frown upside down.... all this extra time to reflect will help to plan things that you do in your life better as not running around like a headless chicken all the time..
