been taking an absolute age to doing this one for the usa ,but it should be safe in ZX9RIDERS hands now.
he has a drum dragster and wanted to go disc so i came up with a case and eventually sourced all the other bits (apart from the 172 kit which went from italy to the usa then to me )to make it a plug and play

The workmanship looks top class , good stuff
I have a question is there a reason you cant get rid of the right angle in the intake tract
Your not the only engine i have seen like this and i wonder why they dont straight line it
Can you not fill the hole behind and grind into it

Im talking about this area , i dont know whats behind it so not sure if you can grind it out or if you can fill behind and then grind it out
I understand a customers engine is not the one to experiment on but if you had a set of cases then this would be a good thing to try

nothing really the barrel studs are a bit further down ,would need filling as you say and it would take some primary away but its worth alook i will mill a slot in a scrap case and have a look .

Dont worry about loosing primary , its fine
Its been proven that a good pipe will scavenge that hard it will actually open the reeds, this is why we have v-force reeds.
I think the extra flow would more than compensate with any losses, this is ony based of what i can see in the pics
email me at wax@waxracing.com i will send you a pic you may find interesting
