The head and barrel were seized to fuck. That's why the bike was free. i got a cheapo 70 kit and I've bought a running engine. Once the old engine has been robbed blind for parts I'll flog it.

The bloke I got it from is a classic scooterist who had bought a shitter for his daughter. He took the bike to bits and realised he didn't know what the fuck he was doing and got cold feet.

I've never had an Aerox before, but I have had a Mal Firefox. What I don't know, I'll learn as i go along. (and by checking the guides on here)

This one is the disc version. Some Malagutis have rear drum brakes. It's been sitting around with the head off, so the crank and con rod both have signs of rust on them. just so you know.

I've also got a 50cc Neos engine, drum braked, which came out of a 5000 mile bike.

looks just like a 2-extreme kit, cos the piston is dull and the seals are orange, I may b wrong though.

a bit of topic sorry, but it does seem pretty similar to the 2extreme kit i got

most of the rubber water seals are orangey colour for the head though mind with a black outer one, tbh i think that the 2 extreme kit is a bloody good kit tho for £69 seems pretty powerful to me and works well

now my ped overtakes cars for fun :D

I think the heads/pistons are made of aluminum and cast cylinders my lecturer told me when he saw it

I think cheaper kits can be good as long as theyre ran in properly for a while and oiled and correctly fitted, dont let the price put you off

looks a nice piece of kit though anyhow you should have lots of fun with it bajaj

It may well be that 2 Extreme and Hi Level are made by the same people and marketed under different brands. It's something which happens regularly in industry. Like MBK/Yamaha.

I'm going to be careful with it, so it doesn't pack up on day one. As soon as I got it I drenched it in oil, so it's sitting waiting to be used. I've got to strip the 50 head for the part which is screwed into the head under the coolant outlets to the carb, because that doesn't come with the kit. When that's done, I'll borrow my mate's torque wrench (mine's too big) and whack it on the engine.

I'll take people's advice and use a bit of emery on the ports though.
