the north run 2011

is anyone thinking of going on the pm tunning north run on 23/24 july?

 

im considering it

 

It ain't organised by PM, don't know where you got that from. It's organised by donotlink-pedstop (incidentally, why does it do that, does somebody not like them?).

 

Il be going on it hopefully, just need few bits on my bike sorting.

Where's the start/route/end? I live near york, and might join near me, but being a fifty I might just sling it in the truck, and drive to the finish.

 

There's the information about it, I'd love to go if all allows me to! :good: Coming from Nottingham and to say my navigational skills are crap is an underestimation.

 

would a 40mph scooter keep up with everyone as i have never being on the north run before

 

There will be scooters of just about every speed and expense going so I would say yes, however I personally would want something slightly quicker than that to shorten the journey and feel a little safer.

do you go to barnsly camp out and then go to scarbourgher in the morning or is that it

 

As far as I know there's no trip to Scarborough this year, it's to the camp site and then back home next day. There's nothing stopping group(s) going their own way and off to the coast if they wish though.

Must admit would of personally loved a trip to the coast however I think the camping and the activities on site will make a brilliant weekend! :good:

 

okay m8 well im only going on ma 50cc and i live near rothwell sports center so ill meet there and just see how she runs

Ill be going with a few people, was a good last year exept from getting pulled every ten minutes by the feds. There are loads of people who go on 50cc's so i wouldnt worry. :good:

 

Hopefully I'll be riding up with a few people, still got to see what everyone's doing. Looks like it's going to be a top weekend though! :good: Looking forward to the Saturday night.
