Swapped the cdi plug over. Might finally sort the misfire out. I suspect they have different ignition curves. The original probably cant keep up with the speed of the engine.
Hopefully this is the right link. A little video clip of a cold start. Really pleased with this one. Fantastic power delivery through the gears.
The power is similar to that of like a drz400 or something, well not the power, but the power to weight
Look at it. Parked next to the bmw, looks tiny, probably better power to weight than the beemer too.... Did some second gear wheelies on gravel with shopping in the side bags today.... And a burnout..
Oh and I've had these secretly stashed away for a while. They will be going on the black 140 soon, which will also be getting a new 140 semi auto engine. Essentially its going to be transformed into a chopper, springer front, maybe a rigid rear.
Well happy with the 190. Looks pretty standard. Goes off the clock (60mph) in 3rd gear. It's a 5 speed. Need to check the speed rating on the rubber.
Great to see those photos. Ok my minds made up, I'm going to build myself a garden shed this weekend.
Thanks. Not really much progress lately. People can watch my progress on Facebook and instantgram by using #100daystobuildachopper or searching #hcmotors. I made a list yesterday, it's a long list. Pretty much I'm doing everything.
Got the TKC70 mounted up to the rim. Need to machine a little off the brake plate. Good to make progress.
Also I have a 190cc zongshen motor in my "50cc" cub. Im hoping for 100mph on it.. May need to get a better cam, but won't be far off now. 80mph easy....
Wow this project is looking great > Also I have a 190cc zongshen motor in my "50cc" cub. Im hoping for 100mph on it.. > May need to get a better cam, but won't be far off now. 80mph easy.... ace would be a good race between my r125 and this, though I think you might have it on power to weight alone
