Sometimes its the smallest of details that make the biggest difference

 

And so does a thorough clean up of your working area!
You let a hurricane loose in there????
Or you gonna blame it on the kid

 

have you got a bike in mind that's your model , or are you making it up as you go,
will it be a off roader or on off road legal

 

No time to clean up. Literally no time.
Its going to be a sort of old school moto cross bike style.
Need to do more sanding and filling....

 

Its coming together a bit now.

 

Holy shit it looks like a bike.

 

Ooh I can cross stuff off my to do list!
Anyway still left is final fibreglassing, wiring, testing the rear light (led from I think a derbi),
Making an oil catch tank, mockup, cutting legshields, making bumpstops, and lots of painting....

Loads to do still.

 

since that last update ive done loads.
the engine is in, i made a headlight bracket, built the brake calliper up (and painted it!) fitted the brakes, placed the wiring in the right place, got rid of the start relay and tidied the wiring under the side panel a bit, adjusted the valves, "finely adjusted" the exhaust (big hammer and heat) so the kickstart doesnt catch on it.
plus loads more no doubt..
