After only having my first chromed exhaust for a little over a month I'm pretty disappointed how knackered it's looking :-(
My moped gets washed at least once a week and when it's really dirty mid week it'll get a quick was a hose down. Prior to having my Leo Vince ZX chrome I've owned ZXR's. I was either constantly taking them off and respraying them with clear hear resistant lacquer or polishing them with wd40.
This time I thought I'd pay a little extra and go for the chrome option.... The first week it looked great but it's quickly started to rust and turn yellow. I've treated it with chrome cleaner but it doesn't really do much...
The thing is I really like the look of chromed exhausts on the Aerox. I'm in two minds wether or not to go and buy a srage6 chrome exhaust but worry about the quality of that too... Price really isn't an issue but does anybody know of a good exhaust that will last and not rust whilst being driven all year round?

It's a shame really as I like the performance from the LeoVince. It's just a shame about the quality :-( even the paint on the bracket is coming off and I never had that on my previous exhausts from them :-(

It doesnt look too bad. I have a stage6 pro rep in chrome and its very good quality.Been on since june I think and no rust. It just gets a quick wipe every week or 2

I'm afraid to say that all exhausts look like shit within a year. There's nothing you can do except paint it with axle grease (which will make it look like shit instantly) thus saving you the angst.

What you can do is polish them though. I's the worst job in the world - but it can be done.
