its definatly my fav looking ped other then the dragster but thats a little marmite to be fair i love some of it and dont like the rest haha.

I had a mbk nitro at 16 (jaguar edition) like most kids say it was the fastest ped about!, but it did seem to out do any other moped i raced against top end haha. I do plan to love this one and visually mod it aswell as tune wise.

    very chuffed

Looks clean. Aerox owners seem to be wankers who know it all. Such a bad stigma attached to it.

Looks good man! Nice to see another Aerox owner who hasn't destroyed it or slid it down the road a couple of times! =)

ta guys, its fairly clean, it needs some touch ups. Im currently looking at the headlight conversions by str8 etc that run brighter bulbs, as i live out in the sticks with no street lighting and the stock lights (whilst not bad i must say) arent great

anyone got and advice on them?

the aftermarket light dont give much more light, if you riding it in a dark places you should be looking at getting hallogen lights not just a cheap bulb but the whole thing with that on you can even tint your front light and its still bright lol :)

Ordered the str8 twin 55w bulb headlight unit today, will be fitting halfords super brights to it too!

also ordered the all in one led rear light with indicators, so i can begin work on tidying the tail up

does anyone happen to know if the aerox 50 jack up kits fit the 100 engine? and if i can get a number plate or l bracket holder for the engine case without having to make one again myself? as all the ones on ebay state aerox 50cc

With the lights if you're upping the lights voltage. You have to make sure it equals same as the old bulb or cross the two or they go dim.

sorry bud say that bit again? i have the str8 headlights here now (will try and find a brighter bulb but these dont look as common as the ones from my rs)

The front lights look simple enough to wire, 2 wires from each bulb etc. As for the rear light with built in indicators, it did say it would come with a wiring diagram but it hasnt, would anyone know where to get one from?

Bassicly i dont know if it's the same as zips, but say your normal bulb is 50w you couldn't go and put two 50w bulbs in your new light or they'll either blow or be really dim.

ah, ok well last night we wired up the front light and all seems well, one 55w bulbs works on dipped and as you flick to full beam the diped goes out and the other lights up. I belive they are h3 bulbs so i plan to grab some 90% brighter versions.

i have to say the str8 front light isnt mounted the most secure with only 2 screws. it also leave a good cm id say or clearance between the light and the fairing cut out on top, which you cant see due to the fronts angle but its not the best

Edit, looks like i have a duff rear light as it dosent power even under direct voltage! whats the chances of that DOH!

a quick blast today using the phone, test is a little unfair as it was uphill to an extent lol

pulls nicely at 7-8k rpm, the pipe sounds loud but is stock, must be rottern inside or somthing as its very loud even at idle

The top end is still very new, im taking it pretty easily mostly with the occasional high revs run.

Now with str8 headlight fitted, and the front pannel cleaned up with the L plate moved.

I didnt realise how ugly the aerox 100 front panel was until i took off the L haha, will be fitting the 50 version with the grill fitted soon

yer its on the list, im not sure on the colour scheme at the moment, i dont want it all black, so i may get a black panel and do white grills with a white clock surround etc

Definitely get rid of that front panel. LC panels with the air intake grilles look ten times better. I'd say Monster Energy with black and green, it looks stunning! And the STR8 Headlight unit features TWO LOW BEAM LIGHTS, which means they are both angled the same, with the same bulbs. So if you haven't done already, wire it up so that both of them come on upon ignition. That's what I've done and it works a charm!

didnt think of the monster theme, might be a good idea.

and yes the ac pannel looks dreadful, makes the aerox look flat and bland. Il try and grab a black 50 front and maybe limegreen grills underneath

have you got a gallery of your aerox?

And of course no strip down is complete without the mandatory stripped bolts! Most of the cross heads where duff already and the kick starts screw, well dont get me started!
