Hey, today i bought myself a shiny new laser x pro. After getting the cone restrictor out and fitting it to my bike, i was disappointed to find it was more then noticabley slower.

Im sure my jetting is fine, im on a 82 with standard airbox and the Laser. Not changed a thing since the tecnigas and its lost about 5mph top end and ALOT of acceleration,

Its still revving the same, about 9000rpm on setoff, about 8000 cruising and 9000 full pelt.

No idea what could be up with it.

    Any ideas? :rtfm:

The Laser x is reknowned for being difficult to set up cause it has a tight powerband. Best bet is to experiment with different roller weights and spring stiffnesses ;)

    Dudes, your both wrong...

    MBK Booster FTW
    Leovinci TT FTW

(of course this is for the win in a race of peds that cost less than 400 quid and haven't broken down due to mechanical failure, haven't been crashed or stolen or seen more spray than an alleyway on a council estate)

Of course i don't think my ped is the greatest ped in the world, ohh no, it is just a tribute. Tenacious D ftw END OF ! ! !

Back on topic drop roller size (increasing revs needed) and increase main jet (more fuel at higher revs), job done ;)

How come you need to drop jet size in a larger carb? I'm running a 17.5mm with a 93 jet after the 90 with it wasn't enough, i'm confused :wtf:

Hi minor, im running a MC2 NRG and i only have a 12mm carb. It came standard with a 78 jet however which after fitting today the bike wouldn't start. Fuel wasn't getting through but thats another fault.

Anyway i lost my rag with it, hopefully wont have cracked the faring i heard summit snap

    Thanks everyone
