Today I measured up and fabricated a bracket similar to the one advertised for the Technigas Next R exhaust. For those that are interested, it's basically a metal plate triangle with three M8 holes, with the hole centres spaced 90mm apart. I made one in aluminium alloy plate this afternoon and apart from some thread lock, some new M8 bolts, a 20mm long piece of steel tube that is a close fit for an M8 bolt (to fit between the exhaust and the new plate, as there is an offset), some washers and a nylock nut, that was it. It fitted first time and the dimensions for the holes were spot on. I allowed at least 5mm distance from the holes to the edge of the triangle and I rounded the corners off with a file. My alloy plate was about 3mm thick, so there's plenty of strength in it and it won't rot easily. It's a lot stronger than the bent steel plate that it replaced.
And much cheaper than buying a bracket, I really wanna make my own pipe to come up high and sit under the seat, like a super bike.. Think it would stand out from the others..
