ok im well stuck with this sym jet im trying to get running, ive checked everything I can think of. i had it running a couple of weeks ago and the only thing ive done is put some wires back together and im sure i did them all correctly.

the problem is its trying to start but not actually starting, the plug has a spark, it has compression and oil n fuel are deffinetly getting to the cylinder.

if anyone has any ideas id be very gratefull as i have not a clue!
    cheers

What wiring were you working on? If you have fuel, spark & comperession there shouldn't be a problem starting. If it was running before you worked on the wiring and now it doesn't I'd say double check your work, I've put stuff back wrong before so always good to look over it again. :D

a friend told me my jets could be blocked, do you think it may be this?

oh and the wires i re-connected were first off cut then i re-attached them to the corresponding coloured wires

clean the carb out, syms are prone to doing crank seals though so i wouldnt rule those out.
