suzuki zillion, wont start no fuel

hi

i brought a zillion non running, (nakerd piston and barrel)

brought a new piston and barrel kit,

got a second hand carb then rebuilt cleaned ect.

but i cant seem to get any fuel onto the spark plug

iv made sure that the idle and mixture screws move freely,

really stumped as these are such simple engines and it wont show any life

any help very welcome.

have you made sure the carbs got petrol by suking on the vacum pipe

 

yeh carb has fuel, iv checked by undoing the drain at the bottom of the bowl and fuel runs out free

 

and is petrol coming out of the pipe? if not could be blocked

either that or your reeds arent letting any/enough petrol through

 

iv just done some reading up and the carb that im useing has been sat for a while and its got like a gunge in the bottom which iv cleaned but it could be in the jets or something so it will be a rebuilt part 2 haha
